My 22 CT4 has 21" Goodyear and does not have thermally insulated glass. I get humming noise that starts at about 45 mph. It's not loud but it irritates me when it kicks in. I understand there is Workshop Campaign WPA2 to replace tires with this issue. Campaign forecast failure rate is shown as...
I have Olea Club Leather Interior in Basalt Black/Meranti Brown. Combined with the Neodyme trim it looks really good compared to my previous CT which was all black. The color contrast between the Basalt Black/Meranti Brown is more distinct than it appears in the configurator.
I can manage with one door setting so will also go with that for simplicity. Funny how in Porsche's pursuit of high tech luxury, the feature is made much worse that the 3 button solution in a 30k car.
My Homelink pop-up works but is hidden behind the camera reverse view. So after selecting drive I have to wait about 5 seconds until the camera view goes off and exposes the Homelink pop-up. 5 seconds wait shouldn’t irritate but it does. If there isn’t a way to bring the Homelink pop-up to the...
Suncoast shipped me a sedan set instead of CT in December. I called them and the quickly fixed the problem. They sent me the correct ones overnight and sent a UPS return label. Sending your photo to them should suffice.
Depending on the definition of ‘binding contract’ I think I fall in case 3. I have a build sheet with my name and address and a non-refundable deposit receipt (both pre-dating August 16th) but the deposit was less than 5%. The latest IRS document that added ‘purchase date vs delivery date’ no...
My CT4 finally moved from Kornwestheim storage to Emden this morning. I assume it now has a battery. Production was completed July 22nd. TYD still has midwest delivery at Dec 9th but if it gets on the next boat to Baltimore a week from now that date might be beaten :)
By coincidence I did call...
I’m also in the camp that Porsche poor communication is indefensible. I’ll use my situation to reiterate the point that information, even in an uncertain and volatile situation, is critical to customer satisfaction. TYD and the dealer told me in July that my car production was COMPLETE and...
I agree with this assessment. What I find irritating about it is that the IRS document defining a binding contact as a non refundable deposit equal or greater than 5% of purchase price was updated on August 16th. That is the same day the Act came into effect. This left no time for people with...
MSRP on my 2021 CT was $94k when I bought it in August 21. Five weeks ago I sold it to a dealer within hours of advertising for $105k then saw it re-
advertised for $115k.
With the scarcity of CT’s I don’t imagine prices are down much but may be wrong.
The 8 weeks delay that was forecast for 12 volt battery production is now up and the Porsche plants have resumed production following summer shut down. Does that mean cars are being released from the compound for transport to Emden. Anyone seen any movement out of the compound this week?
