Went out to car one morning and car wouldn’t switch on. Porsche (AA) assistance called. Ended up being taken to local dealership. It’s taken a few weeks and some logistic planning but I’m getting a new battery.
Picking up car tomorrow, hoping they have upgraded to 22kw charging/plug n charge...
Just had update done, car recuperation failed. No warning or errors. Just doesnt recuperate. Breaks are terrible without recuperation. Surprised the car was allowed to leave workshop like this.
8 new ultra chargers going in at Starbucks, Blackburn, Aberdeenshire. Looks like they will be capable of 350KW. So another very fast option for us guys n gals in Scotland.
After recent update I have noticed a strange braking issue. When braking the brake seems to work then it sinks a further few inches without any braking torque. If you push further then it seem to slow down. But not as fast as normal. Anyone else experienced this?
Was driving yesterday, crossing a single lane of oncoming traffic. Plenty of grip to pull across the road, but car had another idea & applied brakes. Nearly caused a accident as the car approaching had to swerve as I was stopped in his lane. Very dangerous, booking in with service next week.
What’s the forum members view on leaving the car outside in colder times. I’ve got used to not plugging in at home, just wondering in the winter if it should be plugged in & would the car warm the battery to protect itself? Any view points or instructions that I’ve missed on this? Sometimes here...
On a road trip at the moment, car was charging overnight in a multi storey car park. This morning at 430 I get a call from Vodafone telematics saying the car had an attempted theft. Called the police to check it and car was fine. Got there this morning and the 12 volt dreaded load of power...
Received my Bill from Porsche for charging. So the IONITY guy must have been wrong. Ionity charging within the first year is obviously not free, like the guy told me...
I wasn’t 100% happy with my original wrap so I got it redone properly. Then got my detailer guy to recoat the ceramics. Looking good. Pick up tomorrow morning.
Was up north today, plenty of charge but thought I would grab some free electrons at the nelson street car park. Unfortunately the ccs did not communicate with the car. Fault logged with an unhelpful charge Scotland guy. Good news is that there is a Instavolt at the petrol station as you enter...
I’ve read that in the centre console your phone can wirelessly charge & there is also a mobile antenna that boosts your mobile phone signal.
I understand in the UK that wireless charging is not installed. However is a booster installed in that same position?
ive noticed that my mobile signal...
Doing a trip from Aberdeen to Southampton on the 10th September. Any good charging tips on the M6 etc? Planing to IONITY Charge at Gretna & Blackburn... Anyone checked out those chargers?
