Any complaints about the innodrive centering for longer trips? I was hoping that as it is, it is effective enough to make longer highway driving less tiresome.
Well, the Taycan is really heavy, too. It helps the Panamera's CoG to put a battery in it. I've seen some people saying that's how they bridged they range-issue while still having instant torque - hybrid Panamera. It's not as good as the Taycan in weight distribution of course, but in any case...
Could you tell us more about what you mean by "Porsche taking advantage for routine maintenance/service" regarding the hybrid? Is it just that the Taycan has to go in for routine maintenance/service less often?
Context: I've done some looking around for stories about the Panamera vs Taycan here on taycanforum, rennlist, and other reviews. It seems the E-hybrid opinion is pretty close to that of the Taycan, but the non-hybrid Panamera is not - the Taycan flatly beats it. That would make sense...
Anybody gone to the dealership in Maine or nearby areas for service/repairs on their Taycan? I'd like to hear your stories for the quality of service wherever you went. Seems the Maine Porsche dealership is pretty small... makes me question how frequently they see Taycans for service. The next...
Did you end up going on the waitlist for more than 1 dealership? I was just told by a salesman, paraphrasing, "Porsche frowns upon seeing you with an order demand from more than 1 dealership, they may not sell you the car". Sounds like an exaggeration.
I just realized I’ve been going into getting on waitlists by expecting to put a deposit down. I’d much rather put down a deposit at the time an actual allocation comes in instead. What is usually expected? I’d imagine currently there’s lots of having to refund deposits for all the people on the...
Thanks for the input. Side question about the innodrive. I have enjoyed the lane centering feature for those long highway stretches on my past cars, which is why I was considering adding innodrive option. Was it the lane centering that felt like a waste to you? But if you mention the trial, I...
I actually watched this video. He says it feels nimble and you get the RWD dynamic, but I don't know much about how that really feels. Treat me like I'm a relative novice to RWD.
Yeah, sliding the rear. What kind of nannies would begin beeping or stopping it from happening? Porsche torque vectoring? I actually forgot about that option.
Alright, so we know RWD/Base is the most available allocation/easiest to get. After test driving, the truth is, I don't need any more power nor the Cross Turismo space. No problem with RWD in the winter time - haven't had an issue as long as I've had quality winter tires. I would also end up...
Ohh, I think this was it. I misremembered. Thank you for the clarification. I can get an allocation anywhere and have it delivered there. That's what it was, thanks.
I read something somewhere on this forum a while ago about allocations and selecting PEC/ED delivery. I can't remember what exactly it was, so I'll try to say what I remember... Is there something about selecting one of these PEC/ED delivery methods that allows you to notify all dealerships...
