For $17, I hope that people with the problem try this. It directly addresses any possible "key-to-car communication" which (most seem to agree) has some relationship to the problem and perhaps has an added security benefit. If it extends the battery life, then that's a bonus as well...
I get that the keys are new, but wonder about the key-fob batteries. For a only few bucks you could change them. If the problem stays away after that you'll be out the cost of a cup of coffee and may still never know what caused (or fixed) the problem - though as an engineer I believe that...

BACKGROUND
My 2020 4S began suffering from the dreaded "You car is a brick" failure. After a tow to the dealer and "no problem found," the issue began reoccurring on a regular basis at the most inconvenient times. Each time the fix was 1) Lock the...
As far as 350 kW vs 150 kW charging, at least on my trip from NC to MS using Electrify America, there were no glitches with the 350 kW stations. On another trip, I did find ONE station where all chargers were "offline" causing me to have to drive 90 miles to the next one along my route (made it...
Thanks to everyone for the FAST feedback and ideas.
Here's the answer.
It's not an electrical or software issue. It's a mechanical failure. more specifically...
The dealer took it into the shop and returned saying the plastic latching pin was bent. They say they bent it back and ordered a...
Thanks for the ideas...
1) Pin receptor is not "easily" persuaded with a small screwdriver
2) The release button (inside charging port) normally unlocks the charging plug when depressed, but not sure how it is connected to the charging door latch(es). And yes, I have reconnected charger, let...
I have Porsche PMCC at one house and ChargePoint ($699 on Amazon) at the other. IMHO both are equally capable. Same except for price. Both are wired to 50A 220V dedicated circuits. Charging time is exactly the same. Hope that helps...
After removing my garage charge cable from my 4S, I am unable to fully close the (manual) door. It feels as if the latch lock mechanism is locked and prohibits the locking tab from being inserted, resulting in the door closing all but ~1/2".
Dealer says bring it by and they'll look for an issue...
Brought car to dealer to have clear bra installed, and they "stored" the car in the showroom. A few days later, when I approached (but did not open the doors), the car came to life and the A/C automatically began to cool the car to the temperature I had previously set (70 deg F).
I assume there...
After 784 miles on my Taycan 4S w/20" Turbo wheels, the indicated range is now 275 miles. Spec includes ALL available performance options (except ceramic brakes) and many luxury options.
When I took delivery, range was 204 miles then 234 then 245 then 262. Almost every time I charge, the range...
Get your dealer on the hook to find a demo that closely matches your preferred build and work some magic. Perhaps they have access to "what's coming" to dealers across the country...
Thanks for the discussion points and review. Audio is terribly subjective, and stereo choices depend a lot on the type of music you listen to... Pretty sure we'll BOTH be happy with our choices :) Hope your Taycan arrives soon... April "feels" a long way off for me... but good things come to...
Your first Porsche Order Experience can be daunting. I've owned several, and tracked a few, so to me the performance options are a necessity. You should only order the performance add-ons if you actually plan to drive hard. I plan to take mine on the track ONCE just to see how it handles...
Reg,
That's not my understanding of the CONNECTOR OPTION...
If you click on the (?) icon, the description says the NEMA 6-30 option (or NEMA 6-50 option, or NEMA 14-30 option) REPLACES the standard NEMA 14-50 supply cable. Be careful because there is a typo which confuses things for the 6-50...
Here's my OPINION: I had Bose on Cayman S, have Bose on GT4, Burmester on Cayenne Turbo, and wife has Bose on Cayenne... As far as stereo sound quality, I am a professional gigging musician and audiophile (Magnepan, Levinson, Benchmark, etc.)
To my ears (and stereo is ALWAYS subjective)...
