This may not be an issue, but attempting to install one of the OTA Taycan updates when my 12V battery was below ~13.5 V failed. I hooked up a Noco lithium charger that was charging above 14V, the update ran. Hopefully, a regular 12V AGM will support all OTA updates.
I used my Lectron Vortex Plus at a Tesla Supercharger today for the first time. Smooth connect and was getting 129 kW. This will make it easier for long trips. Thankfully, I ordered my 2021 CT with the 150/400 charger.
I live in Montana and have experienced subzero weather a number of occasions while driving my 2021 CT. Last year drove down to Jackson Hole in subzero snowy conditions and had no issues other than range reduction. I have never had a problem with the windows. I did have my passenger side heater...
I had the StoneSho. I guess MT CT was too low and the Sho ripped off at the center rivets somewhere and I lost my plate and the bracket. The bracket was still intact where it screws to the lower lip of the bumper. I am switching to the tow hook option. I live a rural area and the roads are...
I just had my 2 year done including brake fluid, cabin filter etc at Gee Porsche in Spokane WA. Wife wanted an $80 Porsche shirt. Total bill was $743. Austin is a rip.
Just received an email from Porsche NA.
"Porsche is committed to customer satisfaction and has decided to replace the High Voltage Battery Heater (HV Heater) in certain Taycan vehicles, including yours. The replacement HV heater for your Taycan is now available at your Porsche Center and we urge...
I already bought a Mustart 40AMP that works great and I will apply for the reimbursement. I saved my melted down 240V Porsche cable, look forward to seeing my service reps face when I turn that cable in.
Well I would not sell this POS to anyone. However, I did remove the torched dongle and plugged in the 120V dongle and the unit seems fine, just the 14-50 dongle plug melted. I read that Porsche is one of the few outfits that uses 10 gauge wire on the dongle opposed to 6 or 8 gauge wire used by...
Came home yesterday to find my PPMC smoldering where it was plugged into a 40 amp rated pigtail plugged into a Hubbell 6-50R welder outlet. I have used this method since Oct 2021. I won't be buying anymore Porsche charge equipment. Good Luck with your sale.
My CT came with Michelin 20 Inch Pilot Sport 4. Totally worthless stopping on snow and ice. The CC2 stop at snowy intersections and are actually rated higher for snow than some winter tires. I like them enough that I put a set on my Cayenne.
