They seem to be struggling for lots of parts. Apparently the part for my heater has arrived but my car needs a control unit and now they can't get that. They've advised another 4 weeks and my car has been in the garage in Leeds since 3rd Jan.

I had this a few times, sometimes whilst driving, sometimes when i turned the car on. Turning it on and off solved the problem but then it was part of a recall in 2021 which sorted it out.

Its 9 hrs to fit so basically a whole day. Thats one of the issues, its taking dealerships so long to fit.

Mine had no air at all coming out of the vents, not just no heat. So the windows and windscreen wouldnt demist at all - wiping the windscreen every 2 mins and opening the windows didnt help at all. It was a total disaster and incredibly unsafe.

thats what happen here in the UK. Porsche Assist leave you with a rental they hire (its not of equal standard) so you're not without a car. Its a joke you don't get a car when its a clear safety issue. This was mine when driving before it went in and nothing - not even opening the windows helped.

My 4s is in Leeds too. They told me today (18th Jan) that they have no idea when they can get the parts. They said the same to a friend yesterday whose car is also in Leeds for same issue. They have told me its going to be a 'long time'....

Did you manage to get this sorted? i was under the impression they can't get any parts in the UK right now. I've been waiting since 3rd Jan and the dealership can't even give an estimated date for the part to arrive.

Hi, mine is in for the same thing. Luckily i was taking the car in its for its first service and told them about it at the time. They acknowledged it was a known issue and consequently gave me their 'emergency' Taycan instead of the Audi A3 they were expecting to give me. Its the dealerships car...

Interesting thread. I wasn't aware this was such a big problem. My 2020 Taycan is currently in for heating failure - i was driving at night and couldn't see anything out of any windows. Had to stop and buy a cloth but it didnt help! If i hadn't been near home, id have needed the car recovering -...
