Thanks for sharing. I’ve been trying to decide between a Tesla Model S and a Taycan 4S as a replacement for my 911S. We have a Tesla Y and absolutely love it. I test drove the S and it is an awesome car, just not as sexy as the Taycan and perhaps a bit boring. The wife is adamantly against...
This right here one of the many things my wife cannot stand about my 911. She is in amazing shape for a 61 year old but cannot stand getting in and out of one of these low seated sports cars.
Haha I looked it up and the typical 911 owner is between 49-65 years old. I picked mine up when I was 52 and am now 61. But by no means am I an old fart!?
Wow- 58% of Taycan owners had issues and it finished in the bottom 3. Looks like my wife’s argument that the Taycan is not yet reliable enough to purchase is spot on. Going to have to wait until Porsche irons Things out. Thanks for this.
I've been looking at the Taycan for several years now as a potential replacement for my 911 S but am concerned about the reliability. I see way too many reports of various issues and constant visits to the dealership for servicing. I realize that happy customers generally are less likely to be...
I just can't bring myself to turn in my 911S for a Taycan- keep going back and forth...... (I know I know- why not keep both?) Try explaining that to my wife!

Thanks for all the responses...
Yes- happy wife, happy life.
So one option we have is that we are about to take delivery of a brand new Tesla Y, and rather than trading in the Volvo XC90 we could just keep it. That would give us 2 practical cars to use and I would just keep the 911 for fun...
I recently joined this forum and would love you opinions
