Another 2-3 weeks probably. I am trading the Taycan in for a new Cayenne S coupe. I really enjoyed it but hasn’t been very reliable over 2 years of ownership.
You can take the “hope and pray” approach that it is an isolated event (as rarely seems to be the case for those that have experienced and posted about this issue). I tried this at first but error kept occurring with enough frequency that car was extremely unreliable, and had to be addressed.
My Taycan is currently at dealership (dropped off this morning). They are currently working up the problem and are not sure whether it is a quick software fix or something more invasive.

Tried repairing in the cupholder, you can hear the electronic sounds of the key and car trying to connect, but unfortunately fob still not communicating with car. Thanks for the suggestions everyone. Probably just need to get the dealer to re-pair.
