New Taycan stating 217KM mileage on dashboard.

That doesn’t make any sense. When I took delivery of my new Taycan AND drove home it was showing under 100km (and it was a 60km drive). Never seen this before -clearly it’s been either test driven and returned or something similar

New MY2026 Taycan 4 CT Received - Oak Green Neo (also selling it :D)

Today pushed both the new Taycan and the new AMG E53 back to back (driving one, then direcltly the other) through some driving tests: 1) Accelerations with most aggressive sport+ setting, assists in sport or off, 0 > ~150kmh (value my licence somewhat so didn't push harder). Taycan clear winner...

Forum members from 2020, 2021, 20222: do you still have Taycan?

and I thought I switch cars a lot... lol Went i4 M50 (low spec build) -> Taycan 4 CT (mamba green)-> i4 M50 (full options) -> Macan4 EV -> Taycan 4 CT new gen MY26 (oak green), + got simultaneously an AMG E53 4Matic+ Night Edition (also new MY26), now figuring out which one to keep which one to...

New MY2026 Taycan 4 CT Received - Oak Green Neo (also selling it :D)

New HW PCM discussion aside - drove the car a bit today, some observations vs the Macan4 and previous Taycan4 CT: - launch control start is way more fun, you can feel the initial kick much more pronounced. Didn’t dragy it, but feels very much on par with my E53 that does 0-100 in 4.2-4.3 sec...

New MY2026 Taycan 4 CT Received - Oak Green Neo (also selling it :D)

It’s worth noting that Panamera and 911 are also upgraded as of MY26 supposedly with same new HW and SW

New MY2026 Taycan 4 CT Received - Oak Green Neo (also selling it :D)

are you absolutely positive it’s the same hardware? because both Porsche press release as internal brief clearly stated new hardware. And I know that a lot can be optimized by SW, but it’s literally way snappier while it handles much more (games, more complex apps, lightning fast browsing), lag...

    Technical changes with MY26

New MY2026 delivered, posted a thread, see link below. I can already spill the beans - same OS it seems, just newer shell, newer graphics, yes to the app store, no not as many apps to choose from as on Android / Macan (but plenty still). Youtube works great, Vivaldi works great! Dolby Atmos app...

New MY2026 Taycan 4 CT Received - Oak Green Neo (also selling it :D)

Here goes the new thread, I posted before that I had successfully switched my MY25 order to MY26, and here it is, together with new PCM pics. From what I can tell so far: - PCM is much faster, but not quite as snappy as the Macan one, although very close - PCM is improved, there's an app store...

Porsche is modernising its PCM: greater performance and new features

No android indeed by the looks of it, however if the Linux based is much snappier and has decent number of apps (incl Youtube, browser, ParkMobile which is very popular in EU, etc) then probably totally okay. I also see new "performance" section? (bottom left on screenshot below), or was this...

Porsche is modernising its PCM: greater performance and new features

Btw dealer confirmed they’ve connected with the importer & moved my MY25 to MY26 production, no fuss at all. I guess they don't mind the 1.3% cost increase (but after discounts this is les than 1% for me, which is OK)

Porsche is modernising its PCM: greater performance and new features

yes and no. Before looking ahead on an actual drive you punch in the destination (even if you know it by heart you want to know traffic usually). So in steps its: wait for PCM to finish booting, establish connection with the phone, start Carplay, Start waze/maps, punch in the destination (either...

Porsche is modernising its PCM: greater performance and new features

I almost never use the pcm itself, mainly only for settings when needed. But on the Macan for example if you need to flick quickly from CarPlay to some settings or app and then back it’s instant. Also I find that on the Macan I increasingly use the apps from the store, or native YouTube app when...

Porsche is modernising its PCM: greater performance and new features

the ask already went to the dealer - they have a brief tomorrow on all the changes and they’ll debrief me. They mentioned about 2% list increase at maximum, which frankly I’m okay with as new stuff is great: - new Dolby codec - 10 years software (Porsche connector), that’s huge in value - full...

Porsche is modernising its PCM: greater performance and new features

the new pcm should be miles ahead of the old one, based on my Macan EV experience

Gonna try to push the delivery by a month then making some final changes to config? It’s still not in build phase - asking the account manager now

J1.2 Porsche Electric Sport Sound vs Electric Sound (standard)

Hi All, Quick question. Different to J1.1 (where any type of sound was not included as standard) I notice on my order: - Porsche Electric Sport Sound (which I've added) However, if you don't add this option there's still: - Porsche Electric Sound included as standard. So the question is -...
