I recently had a service with warranty "upgrade" to the porsche charger. Afterward, the charger would intermittently stop during overnight charging. At first, the dealer said it must be my house electrical system. Then I sent them a video of the charger in fault mode with the charger light...
A few days after I had the recalls done on my 2021 Taycan Turbo (13,800 mi), I was driving around town. As I started off from a stop, I felt a little hesitation and then a very slight surge. As I drove, I noticed the throttle was almost unresponsive. I floored the throttle and nothing...
Seriously? Porsche makes and advertises a car that has a max speed of 160 mph and they don't expect or design for going over the speed limit. You are kidding? They don't intend for their cars to crash either, but they install airbags and seat belts. Besides, if I was only doing the speed...
I took a long trip (700 miles). Beforehand I planned stops using the Porsche trip planning function in Porsche Connect.
ISSUE ONE: I noticed right off that the first stop planned was farther away than the range with a full battery charge. Fortunately, I didn't just follow the planner.

Have you thought about trading it into the same dealer for a different car (Taycan or otherwise) and asking for a better trade-in deal? Another if you don't ask you don't get strategy.
I bought a 2021 Taycan Turbo with 3300 miles without CPO, but I saw and drove the car and verified it still had over one year of the new warranty left. I figure if there's a problem, it will show up within a year. Also, when I got it, I had my local mechanic run the diagnostic program on it to...
My 911 Turbo has Miles remaining, distance traveled this trip, and consumption in miles/gal. Of course, mileage does vary, but I have found the miles remaining to be very accurate, i.e., getting to the gas station with an indicated range of 5 miles remaining.
I have noticed my speedometer reads 2 mph higher than all other readings. In other words, I am going 2 mph slower than indicated. Anyone else have this experience.
First electric, but I have already watched many Youtube videos. I realize the mileage charge is just a guess, but I thought it would be more accurate than off by 12%. I guess that's not too bad. Just means I need to keep it charged enough to have a cushion. Thanks
There you have 2 large buttons at the bottom "Direct Charging" and "Preheat/cool". The former is the 100% charge button (direct charging means overriding all profiles). Latter enables cabin cooling/heating while charging & car locked.
I understand the "Direct Charging" button is only for DC...
I just got a 2021 Taycan Turbo, 3400 miles. The charge screen indicates the miles and charge percent remaining, but the miles remaining decrease faster than the miles actually traveled. Yesterday I drove 44 miles and the charged miles remaining went down 50 miles. That means the charge...
