You would rather go on with not knowing when it will fail than to use the 11kw version, which is well tested and it works? in the end you will have a 22kw unit, without warranty and when it fails again you will need to pay the cost to switch to 11kw.
It's easy from the outside to see only one side of the story. There are contracts behind it, which god knows what is written inside. Do you think Porsche would not like us to have a 22 kW OBC replacement that would work? If it were that easy, new models would already have the 22kw OBC, but there...
I see that for some the preheat still works after connect services are expired. If this is still the case can you tell which version of the app you have? For me all of it is grayed out.
Hi, this month the subscription for Connect is going away and i'm not planning to support this robbery.
Anyone without it, how does the dashboard look like? On the dash currently with connect services there is a map showing in 1/3 of the screen. With what is it replaced?
Would not be charging on superchargers from Tesla based on multiple failures that happen with this combination. In Europe, we have Ionity, which shares the same 800V design and it is much more suitable for Taycan.
Question is if the failed mosfet would damage anything else that could maybe be avoided? In your usual fixes this was the only component that needed to be replaced?
I see. The electrical part for me is the problematic one so I need to see how to work this out.
Regarding the flaps I will try to manually fabricate it by cutting it out from the current bumper and then try to do some magic trickery to have an option to put it back when not needed.
How come...
Not really. All the mounting points are there on the ST rear subframe. It is just a matter of ordering mounting brackets and mounting them with an electrical connection. And the final thing is to make like a flap on the rear bumper as the ST does not have removable plastic on the bumper like CT.
What?? So you are saying if I set MINIMAL to 60% it will act like MAX and it will not charge the battery more than 60%? What is the tipping percentage when it goes from min to max?
