Did you by chance jam on the accelerator at the exact time you switched modes? This happened to me once. Felt the jolt, got the turtle icon and transmission error, speed limited. Was alarming. Since then, I only jam on the accelerator after switching modes, not at the same time.

Thank you David, it's a hubble outlet. Just unplugged everything and made sure the pmc+ was set to 100%. Still only getting 5.8kw with direct charge. Perhaps it's a hardware issue (cable or onboard charger).
