steering column

Am I nuts? Where is this thing? I searched online and checked the owner’s manual and now humbly bring my request to you lovely people. Thoughts? I’m hearing a light whine from the steering wheel column when turning. My luck, I bring it to the track for the first time and now I’m hearing noises.
