oh interesting…how do you know it’s a launch vehicle? Yes the dealer spec’d cars are usually equipped to my liking.
Your decoded VIN included this option:
S0CLaunch vehicle

Which is a standard code designating a limited series of .. market launch cars. Typically these are configured by Porsche Marketing in collaboration with the market-/area-specific importer, and will include color combinations, options that Porsche felt would best (re)present the new model in that market. That is, it's configured for a specific look and feel, and meant for showrooms, test drives etc. I don't think they necessarily add to the 'collectible' aspect of the cars (unless, of course, we're talking about 911s; in those cases, keyed paint or smashed headlights would add 'value', so long as it was done back at the factory).

Have you come across a comparison chart that displays the various features of the Taycans for different years?
No, or at least not in a single place.. but there were threads here for each new model year (MY) with differences from the prior one. I'll save you a search - the Taycan has been stable, with only cosmetic differences (or the composition of the Premium package) from year to year.

I would wait for a turbo/turbo S that is specced how you would like. One will come up eventually. The turbos have depreciated a large amount and the 4S has not yet hit that big depreciation. I disagree with others, I think active cruise and active lane keep are amazing features. Use them on long highway trips and they are fantastic. Makes the relaxing drive even more so.

Choose the 4s and later down the track you can change your brakes.
A complete set of yellow Porsche PCCB for a Taycan is over $30K+ USD in parts alone. Not sure how much installation/retrofit would add, but together that would cover a decent chunk of a 4S to TS used Taycan price differential.

I definitely don’t need yellow callipers that bad I just like them. :)

More and more nice Turbo S’s are popping up. You’re right, it’s best to wait it out. I’m glad someone agrees with me on the driver assistance options…they definitely take the edge off longer trips.

haha I saw that and quickly thought it was a type of launch control or something, thank you for clarifying.
The 2020 not charging without initializing in the app has got me thinking…isn’t that a bit annoying to deal with?

That's for you to quantify :). Do you expect to charge on the road a lot? And would you tolerate ~30s additional overhead for each of those stops? How many of those stops are the carbon brakes worth? ?
