I have a 2022 Taycan ST Turbo, and a home charger, Ohme Pro.
If i set the Ohme charger to Max charge, which overides any timers etc in the charger.
Then set the Taycan to No timer, General profile, min charge 80%, optimized charging.
Then switch to Direct Charging in the Porsche app.
The Taycan app shows it start to charge, turning green. Then after a few minutes the charging in the Porsche app changes to blue, it says charging paused, and a new timer has appeared, saying the car will be charged in a couple of days.
It seems I cannot force the car to charge at will.
It never used to do this.
Is it a feature of the charging monitering by Porsche?

I don't think that's the issue.

Likely that there is a conflict between controlling the charging session with the Ohme and PCM Charging Profiles / Timers. Normally it is one or the other and never both. Mixing the two inevitably leads to charging issues.

Remove (or disable) all Timers and Profiles active in the PCM. Use the Ohme app only to manage all facets of the charging session. If this doesn't afford you the off-peak configurations then use the PCM and disable any programming in the Ohme.

To have a minimum charge of 80% seems odd to me (normally it is 25% (the default)) but essentially means that you are telling the car to charge up to 80% as soon as you connect the EVSE ("charger").

Using the Direct Charge feature on the PCM overrides any active profile or timer - normally you'd only use that when public AC charging (has no impact on DC charging) to save disabling any active profile or timer.

An update on the issue.
It looks as though the problem has been due to the charger talking to the car as well as the energy suppier talking to the car, and both trying to control charging.
Not sure how the energy supplier became connected to the car 6 months ago.
I have now disconnected both charger and energy supplier from controlling charging, and made the car control it, which seems to work ok.
