my Macan EV has listed V3/V4 supercharger sites all along since delivery in Nov. of 2024 - I think this is a "forward" looking change, not an indication of support - but knowing it's coming…eventually…someday…never?
  1. Does route planning tell you to stop by and charge there?
  2. Does the map show supercharger available stations (i.e. not in-use or disabled)?

route planning yes - no in-use stall count…

Yes, a rigorous Porsche dealership inspection of J3400 adapters, just like Porsche so rigorously inspected its own rebranded L1/L2 EVSE.
Porsche's slowness makes them miss revenue opportunities. For example, Tesla partners with companies to install EVSE's, takes their cut from it.

route planning yes
Does that result in stranded Macans which had just enough electrons to make it to the supercharger station the Porsche nav set as a fill-up destination (but forgot account for the fact that the wait time will be months, during which the Macan's remaining charge will be drained)?

so what you're saying is Porsche has software that is not fully thought out and might lead to problems?

interesting premise given the strength of their EV-software the past several years - I for one don't believe Porsche's software has any bugs or faults…

I hope you're not driving in the next few hours. ;)
no I'm not driving - I'm patiently staring at the main screen in my Macan waiting for Porsche to fix this via an OTA update - should be any minute now…I'm sure of it.

Screen shot from my 2024 Porsche Macan Turbo EV - neither of these sites allowed me to charge a few weeks ago…but Scotts Valley, CA Superchargers w/MagicDock functioned as expected (not shown on this screen shot).

:CWL: $199 - funniest thing I heard all day - they charge $500 for an air filter.
Funny to hear you say this. I just changed my A/C filter and Cabin Filter this AM in my GT3. Total cost: $65 and 20 minutes of my time.
When my Taycan service comes due, no windshield wipers or filters for me. I will replaced myself. I will do my own brake flush as well. I will let them do the service check and drain line blowout. The last service in my '21 whacked me $1300. It just burns me up.
