Anyone else had a rear tyre give out?

Hi,
Anyone else had a rear tyre give out? Mine just basically started to fall apart! Luckily managed to pull over but waiting over 3 hours now for tow truck. Plenty of tread left and around 8000 miles old.

Not sure of the answer, my thoughts are to get tyres checked at the 4k/5k mark

they had much simpler suspension set ups, unfortunately a patern is emerging and as soon as it starts costing Porsche money or bad safety press, I’m sure Porsche will react.
…..hopefully not with another stop sale ?

Was it a summer tire or an all-season tire? I've read that all-season tires last longer. The all-season tires that came with my 2022 RWD (20" Continentals) have over 12,000 miles (18,000 km) on them on ultra-hot Arizona roads and I haven't had any issues ... yet ...
