Auto Unlocking (when putting vehicle in park or turned off)

I noticed on my 2022 CT 4s that the vehicle will unlock when putting the car in park or shutting off. Can this option be turned off? I searched through the PCM settings and owners manual with no luck.

Not certain if this is what you are looking for. Page 76 owners manual MY 2020.

Thanks for the references. However I still don’t see the option to turn off the unlock when car is put into park.

For safety reasons I prefer the car to remained locked when I put the car in park.

I agree that there does not appear to be the option to click to keep doors locked when placing the car in P and turning off.
My doors stay locked until I or a passenger pulls the door handle. So not certain why your doors unlock.
Maybe it is a function of one of the options being selected even though it does not refer specifically to P or Off. Maybe try a few combinations.

For what it’s worth, my 2023 CT does not unlock on shifting to Park, but I do seem to recall it used to, and I used to just re-lock. Not sure if it just learned from my relocking every time I’d be waiting for 2-go food at restaurants, or did I change some setting, or was it because I moderately modified my car by recoding some ECUs to Euro settings, including the BCM2 which controls locking IIRC (I recoded it to Euro region because I installed European rear lights).

@REIL - I was thinking that unselecting comfort access may do the trick but you have the option selected. Do you have all options under the vehicle locking menu selected?

@whitex - curious to know your vehicle locking menu options as well. Do you have all selected as well?

@whitex - curious to know your vehicle locking menu options as well. Do you have all selected as well?

Not with my car right now, will check maybe tomorrow. Keep in mind my car is a software configuration chimera - different ECUs think they are in different countries. I chose to leave my PCM thinking it’s in the US, so I don’t have certain ROW options showing on screen even though I have them enabled. For example I know my locking/unlocking sounds operation is European, which was a side effect of one of my recodings, but I left it that way because I like it better, though I don’t think I have the Euro menu for sounds showing in the PCM (I could recode PMC to GB, but it causes some other issues).
