Bose to Burmester subwoofer?

Assuming it’s a completely different wiring harness. I don’t know for sure but Porsche never usually likes to the same thing for different options. If it is plug and play this could be a fantastic upgrade.

It is bolt on but the Burmester subwoofer has a separate amp while the Bose subwoofer has the amp integrated in the main amp, that means you'll be sending amplified signal to the Burmester subwoofer amp, no idea if that works. Also you need a power for the amp. Its doable but I'd replace the Bose sub driver with a better driver like a Rockford Fosgate P3SD4-8 wired at 2ohm. Did this in my Panamera and the bass is much better now.

That was my other idea.. changing the OEM paper subwoofer wouldn’t hurt. How did you wired it? Is the OEM amplifier 2 ohm or 1 ohm?
