Collision Warning and Sensor Issues Only on Left Side When Turning – Taycan 4S 2022

Hi everyone,



I’m having a persistent issue with my Taycan 4S and would appreciate any advice or shared experiences.



The problem occurs only on the left side of the car and specifically when turning left: the parking sensors trigger false collision warnings and sometimes even cause sudden braking, despite there being no obstacles.



I brought the car to my Porsche Center. They checked the system and adjusted the cameras, but right after picking it up, the same left-side issues returned.



Has anyone else experienced left-side-only sensor issues when turning left?

Could it be due to faulty sensors, a camera calibration problem, or something else?

I’d love to hear if someone had a similar case and how it was resolved.

Maybe you can scan the car with MapEV Diag. That way you can see what’s wrong and show to dealer. The creator of MapEV Diag mentioned that dealer might not actively repair faults unless you bring it to their attention.

Thank you for your comment. Porsche diagnosed a software problem and claimed it was related to the car’s cameras. They adjusted the cameras and told me there was no further issue. But it’s obvious that the real problem they diagnosed still hasn’t been fixed.

Mien does it turning right, been back and forth to the dealer for the past 2 years, changing the car for a new one as can’t get to the bottom of the issue.
