Hopefully will be able to finalize my build and order my car in February 2022. I live in an area where summers are hot and thus want to avoid the panoramic roof (also not a fan of it anyway). I have chosen the RWD Taycan with the following options and would appreciate any feedback.
(As as a side note, a little concerned about the post regarding the "whistle blower" claiming a high percentage of Taycan battery failures. I called my sales rep regarding this today. He said he will research it and get back to me. I suspect and hope that this turns out to be a nothing burger.)

Exterior color: Neptune Blue with interior leather in Slate Grey.
Exterior: power folding mirrors, mirrors in exterior color, window trim in silver
Performance: 93.4 kWh battery, adaptive air suspension incl. PASM, Sport Chrono PKG with Porsche Design Subsecond clock
Wheels: 19" S Aero
Lights: PDLS +, Thermally & Noise insulated glass
Assistance: surround view, LCA, ACC
Interior: Ionizer, ambient lighting, 18 way seats, interior accents in Dark Silver, Ventilated seats, Seat belts Slate Grey
Audio: BOSE surround sound

I commend you on your restraint in the option list :)
Build sounds great and well thought-out. I especially like the 18-way seat option.

A couple of other small/cheap niceties to consider:
- the racetex bits around the mirror, potentially B-pillar, and rear seat cargo tray.
- heated steering? not sure how cold it gets where you are
- blackout frame around the windows instead of the stock chrome for an edgier look

I wouldn't worry about the battery as it seems not legit. In any case, you have 8yrs warranty and usually porsche is known to be good at fixing major issues like that.

Good choices!

Only option I would select is night vision. It is a safety feature that I really like not only when driving in the dark but also in foggy conditions, it gives you a much better overall picture. The next car will have again this feature.

As John24 already mentioned I wouldn't worry about "whistle blower" post. My car is from July 2020, has driven 26K km now and especially in the early days it had its flaws but the battery pack wasn't one of them.

Thank you casica, I will definitely consider enhancements to the mirror and B-pillars. I live in in an area that usually get below 50 at the lowest so wouldn't need the heated steering wheel. Also like your recommendation on changing the silver window trim to black (maybe high gloss?). I appreciate your comments.

Thank you Arjan, I appreciate your suggestion, will do some more research on the night vision option and consider it.
