Cross Turismo hatch not opening.

Recently hatch lock was replaced due to the close button not working but close/lock button works. Today at mid 30 degrees my hatch would not open even with key fob, center concole or foot gesture. Though it would flash the tail lights when key fob is press but no open. Try advices from others to reboot the PCM and fully charge up to 85% but no go. Crowd into the trunk through the back seats and find this plague. Is this the emergence release? Thanks for any help here before contacting my dealer.

Symbol in your photo is for the electrical disconnect for emergency responders.
Should be a green button. In 4S it is on the lid/hatch itself, near the forward portion, on the passenger side.

Mine did it once. They had to replace the catch/locking mechanism or some such.
