This is not mine, but it was done by the shop that I go to for all detailing, ppf, tint, etc. Auto Polishing Center in Waldwick, NJ posted this on their instagram. I saw it in person too and it looks pretty sharp. One of the reasons I went with black is because I wasn't crazy about the contrast of the black vents on the front (it has grown on me now), but I never considered this as an option...

It’s the best in area by far for all detailing work, wraps and paint IMO. They’ve done many cars for me and always stand by their work if there are any issues.

Agreed. Instead of that they should have painted the mirrors. Mine is ordered with painted mirrors. Painted/sport mirrors are a must IMO.

A few understated paint mods to my 4S.
Definitely think leaving the vents alone and having a contrast on the rear bumper is a better bet than the full colour coding.

Maybe I would have done the lower middle section in gloss black. I think that gives it a even more sportier look.
But overall nice job ?

There are a few elements that seem interesting:

• Painted lower side skirts (nice, but I like it less than I thought I would)
• Painted front air dam insert (I do not like at all, which surprised me)
• Painted rear diffuser (I do not like it, although if they had kept more contrast with black I may have)

I absolutely agree that the one thing I never wanted to see was the painted front vents. Makes little sense to me, as it is a very distinctive element of the car.

I reversed the paint on the side-skirts on my taycan, painted the front diffuser and part of the rear bumper. In my opinion it made the car look deeper and lower to the ground. It has always been a point of conversation, with people coming up to me in car parks etc to admire the car and the sales people at my local dealer said it’s how it should have left the production line. For what’s it’s worth, I think the red painted air vents look terrible, it loses the necessary contrast.
