Morning
Has anyone got experience with replacing the drivers side inner door seal??
I have a new rubber trim but on closer inspection by the door hinge there is a blue gummy adhesive holding the original to metal frame in place. Looks messy, as pulling just a bit away to see what’s involved, got a bit on my fingers and it spreads everywhere. I am definitely approaching caution with this if I’m going to tackle at myself!!

Any thoughts would be much appreciated

On a slightly different topic. I need to replace the brushed aluminium foot plate on my Turbo. If you see how it is possible to remove it, i would be grateful. ?

I imagine it will be straight forward, but then it is a Porsche which aren't just straight forward. A friend of mine has suggested to peel the existing away, putting the new on as I go, so they both line up. It's the existing adhesive that I'm mainly worried about as it is proper messy stuff.

Compromise and get a local body shop to do it rather than porsche main dealer. Should get a decent job done without getting your face ripped off.
