Hello to all Taycan owners!
Please advise me with the following problem.
I have a new Taycan 4S Sport Turismo as of March 2023 and the problem I'm dealing with is related to the electronics.
1. Occasionally my PCM does not turn on and only flashes the Porsche sign.
But more importantly...
2. I have started getting " drive control failure" and "all wheel drive failure" messages while driving. Then so problems with the PCM system and occasionally the emergency braking function and the wheels would bite for a few seconds.
Of course at that point (all wheel drive failure) the car starts to slow down. I always solved it by turning the car off and on. But unfortunately it repeated so many times that I took the car to the dealership.
That's when they told me it was a matter of a major update. There was nothing on the diagnostics so they reset my car and returned it.
I drove the car for about 3 weeks and there was no problem. But then the messages started to repeat. In slow driving, in fast driving, anywhere on the flat, unpredictably.
I took it in for service again and they said the diagnostics were fine and drove 100 test miles and nothing showed up. Which is probably true, because the car will go 300 miles without a fault, but then quietly pop up the message 3 times at 50 miles. Anyway, for them the car is fine and they have to return it to me.
Has anyone had the same experience please?
I am reliant on not being able to rely on the new Porsche and turning the car off and on every time????
