Finally here...but can't pick since Burmester amp isn't installed.

My GTS was delivered to the dealer today but I cannot pick up the car since Burmester amp is not installed.

Are there any Burmester amp produced, like in small numbers and what can i expect the wait is going to be?

You can't take it and bring it back at a later date? That doesn't make sense.

Someone had mentioned that without it the car's infotainment goes into fault. I also believe that there are regulatory beeps and sounds (such as seat belts) which need to go through the speakers and which are illegal without it

Make sense…, so what about these amps, are they actually produced at this time?

Yes. Wait times have varied from a few weeks to several months. And its across the range, not just the Taycan. Bose too.

What OPC do you use? Have they given you any indication of timescale? Wasn’t aware of issues with Burmeister (which I’ve also spec’d), knew Bose was a problem! Mine’s due this month.

they dealer I sold my RR sport last week told me about this, not only taycans, its all porsches with bose or your sound type, system goes to fault for the rear sensors unable to beep.

He ran my VIN and seems like mine got produced before the shortage on amps, my wait was 12v batt. I hope I can take my delivery in 4 weeks.
