Can't believe my Taycan is now 3 years old. Booked a local garage for its first MoT, mainly because I didn't want to drive 30 miles to my usual OPC. A simple MoT shouldn't be a problem?
Well, the garage phoned after I had dropped it off to say their hoist wouldn't fit - the jacking points are too wide apparently. They said it need a Class N1 lift (Goods vehicles not exceeding 3,000kg design gross weight), more associated with vans.
The jacking points have to allow for the size of the battery, although why they couldn't have told me this earlier I don't know. So back to the OPC.
