Neat!! The QR code on the charging station links to: https://porsche.charging-lounges.com

Until that video, I had forgotten about the Audi Charging Hub Lounge. That one is even nicer than the Porsche Charging Lounge! It's like Lufthansa First Class (Audi) versus LH Business Class (Porsche) versus Spirit Airlines / Ryanair (Electrify America).

I'm fine with Porsche's approach to this. That way there may be more of them, hopefully.

Exactly, imagine a luxury lounge for a gas station, or a windshield-wiper-tank-filling station. I'd be curious to see the time spent at charging station, across various geos and EV/capita.

The easter eggs in that artist's rendering are hilarious. It's awesome that Tesla allowed their design firm to do that. The comments section below the article highlights some of the easter eggs.

Also, this restaurant-as-a-charging-station concept has been a long time coming:

Yeah, the idea has been floating around for a while but the permits are dated July 2023 so it certainly looks like it will happen.

Someone in that company has a sense of humor. There is a whole lot going on when you zoom in on the rendering. Actually pretty funny.
