I don’t live in a cold climate but anytime I plug my Taycan in it heats up my garage noticeably haha.

Charging efficiency is ~90%, so when charging at 11KW (standard Taycan max) the car generates 1.1KW of heat, so like having a hair dryer running in the garage. In case of 19.2KW charging, almost 1.9KW of heat is dissipated by the car during charging. Furthermore, there may be additional losses in your home wiring and the EVSE - all those loses turn into heat. End result, it's like having a space heater or two on in the garage while the Taycan is charging.
