High Voltage Battery Recall EXPANDED - ARB6 & ARB7

As J1.1 battery modules are no longer manufactured, unless 2nd hand ones are recycled (which may have the latent manufacturing defects which caused ARA4/5 and ARA6/7 recalls) , this appears to say that replacement with j1.2 components would occur?

Dropped off my Taycan last Tuesday for the brake recall as well as ARB6 and WRS1. Dealer called me today letting me know the car is ready, so I’m assuming the battery is in good condition as nothing needed to be replaced.

Is it ready and the recall is resolved or just did the VAL Phase 1 of it?

I got my car back (after EIGHT WEEKS for a 19.2kw charger failure, for anyone interested this is the part: 9J1-915-681-CB) yesterday and the work order lists:
ARB7- Recall campaign not feasible remedy not available
WRA6 - Replace charging cable for vehicle
WRW1 - Reprogram external communications unit
WRS1 - checking high foliate battery and replacing cell block if necessary - complete, checked battery

Now my car has both ARB6 and ARB7 listed, and I have received letters for each, and I do have 'share data' turned on.

Anyway, obviously no fixes yet for ARB6 or ARB7.

FWIW this makes about a dozen recall campaigns that HAVE been performed in 3 years. CRAZY.

Ford Kuga Plug In Hybrid Recalls. Seems they do their own HV battery assembly and use Samsung/Panasonic cells.
First in 2020, full battery replacement recall:

Current 2025 recall, do not charge pending software update
Ford will compensate UK owners with a £500 fuel card and extend the warranty.

I'm not sure if this applies in USA, but in europe it would:
As long as Porsche advised you to limit charging to 80%, and you were informed about the recall, and you didn't follow their advice, they have plausible deniability. So they wouldn't be responsible in any way if your car burns down while having 81% battery - i'd argue they'd rather spend 100k to prove that you had 81% battery, rather than pay you 100k.

And your insurance may claim the same. I would safely assume, that if any taycan burns down, any involved party will try to avoid as much as possible paying out any damages.

Porsche was to release the software update Q1 2025..but I am pretty sure that has not happened.
