@Alaistair just as a note, I had my PMCC also on Wifi and connected to a HEMS system (not the Porsche one though). I frequently had disconnects either because of signal issues or because the mesh system tried to change the frequency. Both of these cause the PMCC to show errors mentioning you should contact service (which is nonsense) and also to ignore all HEMS commands for a minute or so. This means it will let the car charge at full speed during that time. You can only limit this by setting the maximum amperage in the PMCC settings. Once it is connected to the HEMS again, that setting will be ignored.

Alistair could I ask who installed your HEMS? I'm trying to get my PMCC and HEMS installed at home, but the response from Andersen doesn't fill me with confidence "we do not know about this system in great detail and would have to look into it."

I currently charge at work, have been waiting for solar panels to be installed before tackling HEMS installation and setup. Seeing the excess solar going to the grid and not the car pains me!

Thanks.
