Identify this please? Found a pair in my glove compartment!

Just got my car! Will post my thoughts in another thread, but just wondering if anybody knows what these are? I found a pair of them in my glove compartment. Could it be something from the Thatcham Smart Tracker?

They're just slightly smaller than a Porsche key.

If you haven’t activated the tracking system they are useless bits of plastic. If you have activated the tracking system they are really annoying bits of plastic.
