One manufacturer having that capability doesn’t necessarily say anything about another. It would depend on whether or not the hardware has any capacity left.

Pretty much the only software change to get more power out of the existing hardware is to allow more current. As @JimBob said, this will increase heat. Porsche would know whether or not that’s possible.
there is a previous thread on this already, but for Porsche to hold a similar motor torque on RWD between the lower voltage PBP battery vs the higher voltage PBP+ Battery they already run at a higher amperage on the PBP. They can do it on the PBP+ as well but they currently limit the PBP+ to hold back the 0-60 time to match the PBP. In the other thread I do all the math to prove it.

I was looking for something with a similar weight as an example, and that was the first thing that came to mind.

Regardless, the point is that the base Taycan is likely not at the HP limit for its RWD setup, anymore than a 4S is at its HP limit for an AWD setup (given the Turbo and Turbo S…).
It would be interesting to see the influence of tyres and traction control here.
Most of the launch measurements I have seen in videos seem to exceed the rated specification but also most of the cars supplied to journalists do not have standard tyres fitted.

I would expect a non-negligible proportion of the difference in various measurements will be down to the tyre because even the RWD can probably get near the grip limit at launch.

If the car is having a 2.5 second boost at launch I would love to have it available during hard acceleration.
That should be possible and help with a better acceleration after 80m/h. Only 2.5 sec will be a great deal.
