Inverted dipped beam not resetting

I’m posting this in the UK forum, as I guess we would be the only ones who use the inverted dipped beam when travelling to mainland Europe. I’ve just come back from a trip to France, Spain and Portugal and set the inverted dipped beam as I crossed over. I set it back to standard when I got back, but now every time I start the car it has set the dipped beam back to the inverted setting for driving in Europe. I didn’t notice this on the first night drive and wondered why I was getting flashed all the time! I’ve two-finger reset the PCM, but wondered if anyone else has experienced this, or have any other advice to try and get back to ‘normal’?

Hmm odd NAV setting / last route dependent?

Pull the fuse or 12v battery reset.

I don’t think it is route dependent, as it is a setting outside of anything nav related, and I’ve used other nav routes in the UK since. I can tap through the menus to untick the box, and the option becomes greyed out as soon as you move off, so all as expected. It just goes back to inverted when I turn off the car and then go back for another journey. Just bizarre

I live in France and travelled to the UK in August. I didn't know about this feature. When I was driving off the ferry I got a message saying dipped beam converted. I got this message every time I turned the car on. The car disabled this on return to France.

Your issue maybe due to you overriding it and not letting the car choose based on GPS location but not sure now how you fix it.

I didn't realise the car did it automatically, but I have done the manual change over each time I have been through France this year without a problem. I rang Porsche today and they have no immediate answer, so it is added to the list of things to look at when the brake hoses are changed, rear tyres replaced and another recall software update done. Hopefully that will sort it.
