You need surround view but nothing else required other than the dongle. You turn on the car, open the bonnet (!) and plug the dongle into the OBD port. Programming is automatic and (from what I remember) completes in a minute or so.

Thnak you so much for the information, I just bought one, I just saw it also works for the Cayenne E3.

Seems pricey but if it was available in the U.S. and returnable inside the U.S. I'd try it and buy it if I liked it.

You can enable this through Piwis. I tried it on mine, but wasn’t impressed with the image quality, so I switched it back. You also lose the kerb view option when it’s enabled.

I’m fairly sure that the wing mirror cameras on Taycans that have the 3D system are better, which is why the stitched surround view looks more seamless and better quality.

not worth it in my opinion especially not for $300

Were there any other settings needed to change the view? I switched the above setting as indicated, but it didnt seem to change the default view. I can manually change the screen to get this bird view by switching cameras, but the default view is still the original wit the backup camera. Wondering if there is something I missed - either in the PIWIS or through the general settings after the PIWIS change is made.
