Agreed, the Taycan should be worth the wait. Like you, I am also planning on long term ownership.
You seem to have gotten to the manufacturing stage quite quickly from placing the order. For me it took more than 12 months but guessing that’s because of of the wait for allocation with the dealer.

that makes 3 of us with car at port of Benicia. I was waitlisted for a ct4 in sept 2022. Got allocation in Feb 2023. Manufacturing completed 4/6/23. Arrive emden port 4/13. Original delivery was 5/19 when I paid my deposit in mid February. Then changed to June now july.

Curious how long folks have been waiting for their Taycan. I ordered my 4S in Jan 2022 (yes, 2022). Manufacturing completed April 11, 2023; left Emden May 5; reached Benicia, CA June 13...and now sitting there. Just yesterday, the dealer delivery was pushed out a month because it's waiting on some part per the dealer (don't know what). While I am really looking forward to driving the Taycan, I am super frustrated by the constant delays at each step and lack of any communications. The car market is also different now than when I placed the order 18 months ago, so wondering if I should be negotiating anything with my dealer.

Same here, 7 weeks at Emden now. Cautiously hoping for a July delivery.

Mine is supposed to be built in July. And arrive in August. I know that it's highly likely it's going to slip. I just wonder where on earth is that magazine that they promise me while i wait.

I had waited since February 2022 for a GTS ST allocation that never came.Went with the GTS sedan configuration after giving up on the ST when the dealer had a (then April) allocation. No complaints on wait to build, although it was delayed a couple of times. Just missed a March 31st boat out of Emden that it was scheduled for.

I hope that all the end of year model year delay shipment is just to get the ship Filled. Hope that smoother for new model year

My CT is in Emden since May 2nd, on Saturday night, the Glovis Sunlight left the port and no update in the TYD. Essentially this means, it potentially be on the next RO/RO, which is the Neptune Barcelone, to arrive on June 30t 2023. ?

Keep fingers crossed, as the next RO/RO for Benicia is planned for July 27th. ?

Ordered taycan 4S with fair specs April 2022, then delays and original delivery end of May 2023. Again delayed but it is here as of 20th of June ? I’m in UK, Manchester. Picking up this Saturday I hope ? to buy the same car would be £7K more ? new cars are such a shenanigan ahaha

Well it says 10th of June, but I’m not sure how accurate that is. There was a delay tho when they were standing at the port, so not sure if it wasn’t built earlier

So it completed build 10th June - That’s pretty quick!! ?

My car continues to be ahead of schedule. Actual dates:
June 18th started production, 22nd complete, 23rd on way to port, 26th arrived at port.

Now the real test. Will it really get on a boat to Houston on the 27th, as claimed?

The Violet Ace just docked at the Port of Houston this afternoon! Woot. Now I wonder how long my Taycan will sit at the port.
