my car was on the same boat as yours, it just got to the dealership today. TYD updated at noon today saying it left the port then at 1ish i got a text from my SA saying its here. I did call porsche NA to vent my frustration with the delays last weekend and now its here lol. Hope your car will arrive soon

Perhaps venting to Porsche NA would have helped, but I presume that it won't be far behind. Presumably, they're doing arbitrary delays.

As it happens, I'm traveling for the next week, anyway.

I did put some pressure on my SA and even wrote a strong email to PCNA (though never heard back). Not sure if that helped ;-)

For all those still having their Taycan sitting in Emden. Today the Neptune Barcelona arrived in Emden for the next 4 days to continue its journey to the US west coast. With such a long stopover, it could be that a huge load is coming our way.

Another lottery to see which Taycan will make aboard. ?

My Taycan GTS is at the dealership today, according to TYD, and I am arranging to take possession of it on 7/25. This is my decision due to my travel schedule in July.

I thought I would recap some of the initial TYD Dates (posted 5/15/23 to My Porsche) and Actual Dates that were realized. I hope this helps manage expectations, but as always, your experience may be different

So, that is my comparison to my initial baseline dates from TYD. During the process I would have projections from TYD that were all over the map, Step 11 was projected from 6/19 to 7/3 to 7/31 from time to time. Overall, Porsche did a good job in estimating the dates - if you consider the heater issue and other impacts, boat availably, customs/insurance at Port, etc. Mentally, when I ordered the vehicle in January, from information in this Forum, I set my delivery exceptions for mid-August.

What I dont understand is why some vehicles experience weeks and months of delays at Emden. Bizarre.

I hope this helps, or at least, is more data for others to compare.

Great news for you! Enjoy the car. My freeze was in early January with early February build, but still waiting for the car to arrive. Should be any week now... The times are really all over the place with no rhyme or reason.

My car finally left the SD port today, will be at the dealership today.
If mine is finally released, It should be the light at the end of the tunnel for you guys too.
My buddy's car shares the same ordered, built, shipped and held dates with mine, however his car is still not released at the moment. Yet we believe soon it will be.

SA informed me the pick-up will be before next weekend the earliest since its 4th of July weekend.
Safely to say, July Delivery Thread is my final delivery thread.

I will say that although I realize that we live in a weird world with disrupted supply chains, I still can't fathom the notion of Porsche shipping cars from the factory floor with missing pieces. Maybe it was like this before too...

Not yet. SA mentioned that the software needed to be updated and the logs sent to Germany who are yet to release the vehicle for sale, but he said it should be “any day now”. Typically takes 3 days.

I just drove it for 7 miles back home and it feels like I have had it forever. Now sleeping in the garage. Great service Porsche Glasgow and lots of presents for us and the kids.
