June 2022 Deliveries

Arrival at dealership supposed to be in June but potentially will slip into July ... (delivery dates already got pushed several times like for most folks here ...)

No TYD here so mostly in the dark compared to you guys in the US.

My April delivery got bumped to May 27 due to the supply issues. Now my car is built but parked at Emden waiting to catch a boat. Delivery date now bumped to June 10. So I will plant myself on this thread unless I get kicked back to July ?. I realize that I check this forum more as I get antsier over the progressive delays. I wonder if this is what I should consider the “Porsche Experience” - waiting months to spend more money on a car than most people make a year.

For those on Grand Champion, I have been using https://shipfix.com/ship/grand-champion_IMO-9340570 to track it -- seems to be receiving some satellite updates there (which is better than the other free tracking websites).

Boat is half-way through the Atlantic, ETA at Colombia 5/11. Things seem to be on-time ?.

My 4CT was original a March build and April delivery (new york). it was delayed to June, and I gave up checking TYD for a while.
Yesterday I found that it's in transport to Emden. Everything seems to be a week earlier than the previous schedule. The production seems only took 4 days.

My CT4s is on the SFL Conductor as well and being dropped off in Houston. Trying to not look at the locater for another two weeks since the estimated arrival date to Houston isn't until May 24th.

For those who are on Grand Champion, it just arrived to Santa Marta, Colombia, slightly ahead of time. Next-up: crossing the Panama canal.

I went over the dealer today to trade-in my car (I will be traveling for a few weeks, therefore won’t need it until the taycan arrives).

I asked the SA if he knows about any missing parts on the car, and he pulled up the order to check. There was a notice of a “potential 6 weeks delay, Bose, Grand Champion”. Apparently there’s a part missing (some sort of bracket?). The SA assured me that the already have the part in question in stock (unsure how he knew that, given I didn’t see him check anything).

so i hope this is nothing, but seems like bose-equipped taycans are missing something.

Thanks for the info. Since it’s around Mexico I asked PEC LA about scheduling my delivery but they told me they can’t because “stop delivery is present on the car”, and I assume that’s what it’s missing? It’s been a long wait already and it’s driving me nuts.

Has your car been delivered to PECLA and/or to a port yet? Unsure how the stop delivery works. I have definitely seen the notice paired with the car alerting the dealer of a potential issue, so they should know why.

No, the car is still on Grand Champion. PECLA said they schedule once the car is on vessel, but they didn’t so I reached out and that’s what they told me.

Yeah I would ask what’s the reason for the stop sale. That was the only thing I saw on my 4CT.

Hi All – my 4S has been in Emden Port since May 13 and is supposed to be on the ship May 20 and arrive in Davisville port at Rhode Island on June 3, arriving at dealer June 24. How do I figure out which ship the car is likely to go on?
