Maybe yours and mine will be on the same ship in July…My GTS has been at Emden since 4/26. First pushed back to depart 5/22, then updated today to depart on July 5!
We were on the same boat based on your arrival date. I am still sitting at Halifax. My SA said it was due to the pending software updateAny of my fellow Canadians have movement from Halifax? My car is still there after arriving on 5/16.
Last I heard, mine was scheduled to leave Halifax on Jun 2. Haven't heard whether it is still there or not.Any of my fellow Canadians have movement from Halifax? My car is still there after arriving on 5/16.
Which is code for, quit calling us cuz we don’t know shit.I was told by the sales rep today they will give me an update in 2 weeks about my Taycan…
Congrats!! Glad to hear some members are actually able to take deliveryI will be picking up my car on June 14 through PEC LA delivery. Everything going well. Have signed all the paper work. Both PEC and dealer never mentioned any stop sale.
In a bit of a surprise, the tracking updating this morning to show that my car got on the boat on June 6th. Happy days.My car arrived in Emden on May 31st for the June 1 boat, but was just updated to June 26th departure for Houston. So dates are definitely pushing back.
I’m curious, what does the path on the TYD map looks for your car. It should show how much of a detour the had to take to go to France.Your guess is as good as mine. From what I was told, they were so backed up at Emden and at the factory that they needed somewhere else to store it for a few months. ?![]()
At least you have an honest SA. So many SA’s make shit up just to pacify customers. I personally I prefer they tell me the truth, even if that truth is “we have no clue”. In this case the SA admits they have no new information and commits to following up in 2 weeks. That’s the best you can expect.I was told by the sales rep today they will give me an update in 2 weeks about my Taycan…
Ha, they never updated it to show the actual location. I just have a 2 month gap from when it was built and when it was heading to Emden. But Porsche did confirm with my SA that my car had been moved to France. Of course my initial reaction was if you could move it to France, why not get it to Emden???I’m curious, what does the path on the TYD map looks for your car. Seems odd that TYD would not show this, given it was supposedly a scheduled stop. Perhaps “car is in France” is a codeword for some other state, like “it got stolen, destroyed in the factory, or just never built as planned, so building a new one in the next batch”.Ha, they never updated it to show the actual location. is it the best? I have transferred 70k into their pockets 3 weeks ago. What would you do?At least you have an honest SA. So many SA’s make shit up just to pacify customers. Would you prefer they string you along with "your car will be here next week", then next week "sorry, the car has encountered additional delays in shipping, the following week for sure" - all the while they actually have no clue and are just making it up?is it the best?
