Hello! I never use the pcm to program my trips with the hyperchargers. For the holidays I will do 1300km and I am looking the trip via the Porsche app.
The planner makes me stop at a porsche center for one of the refills but I drive during the night and the porsche point, after checking, is not available outside opening hours.
Will the pcm adapt taking this into account or not?

I think it won’t. Be careful with that.

I usually plan my trip in ABRP and enter those stops in PCM. That way it pre conditions and also shows the number of free chargers in PCM.

I don’t really trust planning in the Porsche app.

What I also have done is entering the destination in my car in PCM the weekend before I leave to see what route and charger it proposed.

I usually aim for Ionity because it is fast and cheap. If not available Fastned, EnwB, Allego and I try to go for facilities with > 4-6 chargers. Back up: Tesla: more expensive, slower but chargers with 20-40 stalls.

If PCM suggestes a Porsche / Volvo / VW charger I usually look for and alternative. Usually only one or two chargers. Often closed outside office hours

Good luck with your trip. Where are you going. ?

THANKS! Unfortunately I suspected the answer :(

So by simply indicating the address in the gps, as a "normal" destination, the pre-heating of the battery will work or do I have to specify somewhere that it is a stop to recharge?

We cross France from one end to the other. Ile de Noirmoutier then Perpignan, Monpellier and we go back up to finish. 1st long journeys in electric it will be experimental hahaha

What I do: I plan in ABRP. I select them in the app only phone and add them as favorites so I don’t have to enter them in my car. Next step, select the favorite called Ionity xyz in PCM in my car and search for charger around this location. It will now show Ionity xyz as a charge stop indicating Kw and number and free chargers in yellow. And I save that one as a favorite again and erase the first one. Then I enter the final destination and enter the needed intermediate stops from the favorites. Kind of stupid and long but then I have a list of all chargers I want to go at and can see if they are free or look for alternatives. And it preconditions. Or sometimes I just let PCM do the suggestions and change to one of the favorites if necessary.

Others just navigate from Charger to charger. May be faster. For me it takes 15 minutes to have everything in PCM.

I haven’t been in France a lot but they have lots of Ionity and Fastned. Just be careful with Total. I have seen some less happy chargers around here. Don’t know if it is correct.

Edit : in answer to your question If you just navigate to the destination called Ionity xyz it won’t precondition. It has to recognize it as a charger. Sometimes if I just enter the destination it will selected as a charge stop but not always. If it is indicated as a charge stop in pcm it will precondition.

If you plan the route in the app, the car seems to replan it anyway. And then I believe it will adjust for opening hours at Porsche centres. If you drive down to Perpignan via the A5, A6 and A7 you will see many chargers along the route. Not all in the Porsche Charging service, but I found that there were signs about every 30 km along those roads with HPC chargers. And Ionity is well spaced in France, complemented by some excellent Fastned chargers. I have not been so successful with Total at all. Some work others not and Porsche Vharging helpline is useless. They only answer during day hours, so if you drive at night, tough luck.

The advice to plan stops at only Ionity is good and if you program that correctly you will get preheating etc. Typical charger rate at Ionity below
