I got to help Mustart test a new app they have and at the same time do it with their up-and-coming smart wall charging unit. I believe it should launch on their site & Amazon in the next few days, but below is a quick review. I know we all love the mustart travel chargers (it was the first purchase I made for my Taycan), and I think this is a good addition as a permanently installed charger with scheduling/etc..
The Good:
- Very well built, lots of metal
- High-quality long cord
- Cable management built in (charger connects into the unit)
- Smart-card activated, so can be installed in shared spaces
- App was easy to set up and allows custom scheduling, can see charge info, etc..
The Bad:
- Goes up to 32amp, 40amp would be nice since many have 50amp lines installed for their 14-50 nema plug
P.S. If anyone is interested in buying this unit (they sent me more than I need), please pm me.
