MY21 - Wired Android Auto?

I am sure this has been asked over and over so I apologize in advanced. Can someone share the latest answer we have from Porsche on if this will be available? (ever?)

There's a very solid chance it'll come with the recall software update that'll be applied this summer.

The recall notice that's now online in My Porsche includes this:

The PCM must be re-programmed with corrected software. Due to the related functional enhancement of the central computer, the driver's manual must also be replaced with an updated version.​

The fact that they're doing enough "functional enhancement" to require a fully new manual for your car should give you some indication that they're actually doing a serious update, and there's no reason that wouldn't include wired (and wireless) Android Auto, Spotify and all other new software features.

My glass may be a little fuller reading your post but in the absence of release notes detailing the content of the upgrade and the seemingly sporadic nature of the rollout still makes me doubtful.

I have a pending safety recall listed - ANA5 - and would have expected this and any major PCM upgrade to be done at the same time given the associated costs to Porsche but so far nothing listed.

Still remain sceptical that this will be available for all model years but will be delighted when proved wrong.

Perhaps but I've just had my ANA5 completed yesterday and the dealer had no knowledge of the campaign nor that it might pending.

Hence why I use the word 'allegedly' so far nobody, even Porsche service Dept know for sure yet.
