I was fortunate to get an allocation (at MSRP!) and now i'm going nuts sorting through all the options.

Need some help with the E-mobility options.

I selected the following:
On-Board 150 kW/400V DC Charger -I understand this is for when/if tesla opens up their chargers.
Power Charge port cover - Love it, very cool
Porsche Intelligent Range Manager - Do I need it?
Mobile Charger Connect - Do I need it? doesn't the car come with a free cable?

This would be my 1st EV, and I'm having an electrician install a 14-50 receptacle on a 50amp breaker.

Thank you.

It's been stated in various threads here (and on Rennlist) that none of those options are necessary or even very useful, especially if you live in the US -- just money-makers for Porsche. Yes, the car comes with a charging cable and EVSE. Also, some who have gotten the power-port door have had problems with it working properly, so that might be a gimmick that you'll want to pass on, as well.

I like my Power Charger port. Kind of cool to open (gimmicky but I love it) and it closes up that area below as it houses the motor, where others get little rocks and pebbles.

The car comes with the basic charger. Do not spend the $1,200 for the touch screen with the 25ft cord. Buy one of the many on the market (I have the ChargePoint HomeFlex ($787) and the resident expert @daveo4EV likes the Clipper Creek (go search his thread on the home chargers and you will see why I am saying this).

Also keep in mind that your utility company may provide a rebate, and that rebate may be restricted to specific brands and/or models of EVSE.

I have all of those on my 4CT, and I don't regret checking the boxes. I like the Mobile Charger Connect, is sleek and easy to set up. I really like the power charge port, yes is gimmicky but I think I would've regretted not getting it. I don't have anything to say about the Porsche Inteligent Range Manager because I never needed it, but who knows....

Congrats on your allocation, OP! I’m in the same boat, with my freeze coming next week. Mind sharing the rest of your build?

DC booster - Tesla may never open up and has been rumoured for months with no clear indication it's moving forward. Low cost so worth having.

STD EVSE supplied is fine for up to 9.6kW home charging. App or car provides programmatic wherewithal to control charging sessions. All cables come with but check the length of the EVSE to car connection ,(4.5m).

Power doors are cool.

Have a 2021 Taycan 4 CT, had NEMA 14-50 female receptacle installed in my garage, use the charger and cable that came with the vehicle, works flawlessly
