PPFd with stealth. Getting egress warning error

Just picked up my 22 Taycan after getting stealth PFF and this error comes up every time I get in the car. Anyone know what causes this issue and/or how to fix it?

Love the way it looks though ? Also wrapped the back lip under the trunk in satin white. Was way too much black plastic before IMO

I wonder if the film could be causing an issue. What brand is the film they used?

When they PPF’d mine, they removed the mirrors and then the dealer had to recalibrate the ALK/LKA system. I wonder if they disconnected sensors during the process and now you need to recalibrate/configure at the dealership?

They definitely removed my mirrors too! That’s good to know. I’ll have to take it in next week to see if that’s the issue. Thank you so much!

No problem; i expected it when i had mine done (about 2 years ago) as this forum has reports of several others needing it recalibrated after mirrors removed. I cannot remember the error i had on the display - but it was a quick fix at the dealer. Of course, they charged me for that privilege

Same warning just got PPF. I’ll stop by a dealer the new few days it I can but ignore it for now

Just got mine wrapped too, pickup later today, expecting a LKA recalibration, approx how much did the dealer charge??

I also got an error after the shop removed the wing mirrors for the PPF install. I can't remember the exact error code because the entire text was in German. The PPF installer paid for the recalibrations. Local Porsche dealership wanted about $250 to perform the recalibrations. This was in 2022 though..

Reporting back on this- it was a quick and easy fix at the dealer to reset.

In my case they helped me out at no charge.
