Hi Jasper, no i didn’t turn off ESC, I turn on PSM Sport on my Taycan. But I don’t know what it means….Porsche Stability Management. Notice the orange icon, did you turn off ESP by any chance?
PSM is your suspension management and shock absorbers - Sport is stiffer (harder ride) than normal and Sport Plus is the firmest (for tracking etc). The ESP should not be enabled ordinarily so this may be a fault.Hi Jasper, no i didn’t turn off ESC, I turn on PSM Sport on my Taycan. But I don’t know what it means….
I believe PASM is the suspension management.PSM is your suspension management and shock absorbers - Sport is stiffer (harder ride) than normal and Sport Plus is the firmest (for tracking etc). The ESP should not be enabled ordinarily so this may be a fault.
Drive mode Normal - Sport - Sport Plus - Individual will alter the suspensions & shock settings as well as lower the ride height if you have air suspension.
Take a moment and read the Owner’s manual!
Porsche Stability Management - the orange indicator.I believe PASM is the suspension management.
PSM aka "please save me" from losing control of my car. e.g traction control/ABS
@Chiu
Porsche Stability Management in Sport (not to be confused with Sport drive mode or Sport chassis), will allow the systems that save you from running your car into a wall a bit more leeway to get the car wiggly....
?The question I believe the OP is asking, why this light is on. I have never seen this light on, as PSM is always on behind the scenes and it goes into PSM Sport when you go into Sport mode, but I have never seen the light actually on (in the US) to tell you that, unless this is a country specific requirement to notify driver what PSM setting is On.
Ok, just read the manual, and this is what's going on:
