I just noticed a difference between the area behind my front wheels on the driver and passenger side and wanted to see if this is normal or not. On the driver side, the cutout that leads to the driver door has these slats/grille in the fender liner. On the passenger side, there is no slats/grille and it appears the piece is missing. Is this normal or is there a piece truly missing? It is a 2021 base.

You are missing a trim piece on the passenger side. The two sides are identical. You can see the hole for the pop-rivet at the bottom of the second picture. Mine came loose from the force of water going through a deep puddle so they don't seem to be attached all that securely. Shouldn't be inexpensive and is easy to reinstall.

Mine just popped out at the top rivet so I never looked up the part. It would not be surprising if it was part of the inner fender liner. It shouldn't be since it's held in place by two pop rivets, but it wouldn't be the first case of having to buy "the whole thing" to get a minor part. Try Suncoastparts.com (Suncoast Porsche). Decent parts locator for a dealership.

The wheel arch liners are different on the manual charge door opening cars to the electric doors.

This looks like a manual door car since there are no openings on the electric door cars
