Does that mean that the dealer adjusts the lease residual value based on how they judge the desirability of the car? I thought the residual value was set by the lessor bank/org, and they just have a formula for that.

Sorry to hear that. I've been there. Good luck with the auction. Given the economic outlook, perhaps consider leasing the next car so you don't have to deal with this in 2 years.
I think i'll still come out on top vs. the lease prices I was looking at, but yeah. I kept the Taycan 3.5 years actually - which says a lot about how great of a car it is.

Agreed a sale on mine too.

After 3y 3m will be moving back to BMW (i4 M50).

Mixed emotions.... Car has been enjoyable to drive, but ownership experience poor.

So many recalls and faults, with premium prices from dealers, for below premium service.
Its not really been the Porsche experience I was expecting.
Driving a clapped out, high mileage Lexus rental while it was getting the heater fixed for days on end, left a very sour taste.

I wasted too much time driving to and from Porsche dealers for faults and recalls without the slightest sign of a goodwill gesture.

It spent far more time at the dealers than all my other cars combined in over 40 years driving!

Shall miss this forum though. Best car forum I've been on.
