That brake rotor doesn't look good to me....I'd say so, this is me with under 800 miles.

It looks like your pads are contaminated with rock bits or something.
Or are they being serviced? (based on the tiles of the Porsche workshop).
Perhaps a better indicator would the be the brake that is already off in the picture.Or are they being serviced? (based on the tiles of the Porsche workshop).
Was it the sauteed rotor that gave it away?I assume this was the before shot from this thread: https://www.taycanforum.com/forum/t...t-left-wheel-when-in-motion.32013/post-488250
There’s no need to do that. You don’t want any over spray on the rotors. Most cars are like this nothing new.Amazing and thank you for removing any concern. Such a good looking, clean car until you take off the wheel. Tempted to spray some wd40 on it but sure that would cause other problems.
That rotor doesn't look good either.
Yephi all. Is this much rust behind the wheel normal?![]()
Not necessarily, if you have streaks and your coating is compromised you have debris caught up in your pads.Any thoughts? It seems the only solution will ultimately be replacement.
