Hi everyone . Siem Cicero has been in the port of Emden for almost a week now , anyone know when will it depart ? According to the pwl schedule it should have left the port on 02/11/2022 . Thanks

Haven't heard anyone officially declare on vessel status with the Cicero. I'll let you know if I am - probably within 10 minutes of it happening. That's about how often I check.

Looks like Cicer is a totally empty vessel coming from Davison RI to pick up cars for east coast. It can take 6500 cars so I guess it may take sometime to load up? Maybe?

Yea , I wanted to cancel a few times , but before I pick up the phone to call , I just think how much time I have put into it and how much emotions I have grow with it , ?‍ , it’s not like just buying a car , it’s like getting married to something ?‍

Honestly I’m never going to do this again. Wasn’t worth all the aggravation. Which I understand is a first world problem…

^This -- It came straight from the east coast most likely empty only to load completely back up for vw/porsche/audi for east coast deliveries.

Siem Cicero is now scheduled to arrive Davisville 11/21 which if I looked at the schedule you probably looked at, it is a week behind schedule...best guess it departs tomorrow.

Go to noradinc.com -> look for berthing schedule if you want to look yourself.

BTW, it only takes them a couple of days to load a full vessel. Many reasons why a ship is delayed - weather, not enough cargo, bottlenecks at arriving ports, crew....

How many days does it usually take for a boat to cross the Atlantic? I also assume, much like planes, boats can go faster or slower to make up time at sea…

I'm pretty sure most ships have made the trip from Emden to Davisville in 11-12 days.
