Ski Bag: does it come with a hatch?

I'm working out a spec for a 4S to hopefully nail down and order this week, and just want to check something I was told by the sales person on a test drive yesterday. If you spec the ski bag does it come with a hatch behind the rear seat armrest to post your skis through?

My preference would be to get the 2 rear seat version rather than the 2+1, but as I live in Switzerland it's pretty critical that I can get skis in. A ski hatch would be perfect if I don't have the 40 : 20 : 40 split.

The rear seats just fold 60/40 with the 2 sear rear.

Thanks - yeah I understand that, 2+1 gives the 40:20:40, 2 seats gets just 60:40.

The sales person told me that if you spec the ski bag the "60" split comes with a little hatch in it to post your skis through.

Is that correct? I can't find any reference to it - if you or anyone has the ski bag can you advise? Obviously a different Porsche but in the parts diagram below the ski bag is no.33, and the skis can be posted through seat back (no.1) via the hatch / armrest (31/32).

I have a similar need, although it's not skis.

In my wife's BMW 135 we ordered the through storage without knowing what it was, and it turned out to be an integrated ski condom which was exposed by a cover on the back arm rest. If you folded down the arm rest, the ski condom could be pushed through the boot into the car and you can put your skis in the boot and they are covered by the condom as they reach into the cabin.

This turned out to be amazingly helpful and is now a pre-requisite for the Taycan order.

My sales told me that I needed the 2+1 but that I could use my own bag rather than ordering the Ski Bag.

I will be very interested to know if you can have a through the middle hatch without having the 2+1.

At the moment, I my order is 2+1 so that I can fold the middle down and put the long items through the boot.

I got the ski bag and there is no pass through unless you get the third back seat.... so that hopefully answers your question

I don't have a Taycan yet (still researching), but I found this in the user manual I found somewhere on the web. I think this confirms 2+1 required to get the solution you desire.

Hope that adds a bit more comfort to the decision.
